Offered is a 2013 Combined Joint Task Force 3 Regional Command South Kandahar, Afghanistan American flag flown on June 1, 2013, and presented to Lou Holtz. The American flag is folded into a presentation triangle, mounted at the center of a light blue matte with Navy blue border and displayed in a 15 x 26-inch white wood with glass frame. At the top of the display is the dog-cartoon emblem of the U.S. Combined Joint Task Force 3, a bulldog in khaki Army uniform. At the bottom of the display is an 8 x 10-inch color certificate featuring a background photograph of the Combined Joint Task Force 3 command post, with the legend, typed in black, "So that all shall know, this Flag was flown on the 1st day of June 2013, in the face of the enemy, and bears witness to the strengths of the American people in the rebuilding of Afghanistan and denying a safe haven for terrorists. Presented to: Lou Holtz". This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
