Presented is a 1993 University of Notre Dame Mobil Cotton Bowl Champions plaque. The xx x xx-inch brown woodgrain plaque features a color 8 x 10-inch Notre Dame football team photograph at the top center, above a xx x xx-inch gold metal plaque printed in black, blue and red with the 1992 Notre Dame football schedule and results and other statistical information. The legend on the plaque reads: "UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME 1993 MOBIL COTTON BOWL CHAMPIONS" across the top center. At the left, under a Navy blue "ND" logo, is the caption "UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME HEAD COACH: LOU HOLTZ FINAL RANKING: AP - 4". At the center is the 1992 schedule and results, with the caption at the bottom center "1992 SEASON RECORD WON 10 - LOST 1 - TIED 1". At the right is the logo for the Mobil Cotton Bowl Classic in light blue (with a red "o" in Mobil), above the legend "JANUARY 1, 1993 DALLAS, TEXAS NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH VS TEXAS A&M AGGIES". Please note that there is a slight cut in the center of the plaque next to the opponent "Pittsburgh", along with a scratch from the cut. Notre Dame upset the previously undefeated Aggies in a 28–3 victory at the '93 Cotton Bowl. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
