Presented is Lou Holtz's 1983 Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame plaque. The brown wood plaque engraved in black features the outline of the state of Arkansas and the legend "Arkansas SPORTS HALL OF FAME Lou Holtz in recognition of your outstanding achievements and accomplishments which have brought honor, prestige and fame to the State of Arkansas, your name is herewith inscribed in the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame February 11, 1983 Kenneth Pat Wilson President Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame". Holtz went to the University of Arkansas in 1977. In his seven years there, the Razorbacks compiled a 60–21–2 record and reached six bowl games.
