Offered is an original Lou Holtz portrait painting on canvas as painted by Pro Football and College Football Hall of Famer Tommy McDonald. The original painting depicts a young Holtz with blonde hair, gold rimmed glasses, and a white shirt against a neutral brown and tan background. The painting is signed by McDonald "T. McDonald" in brown paint in the lower right. The Holtz portrait is displayed in a 24 x 28-inch brown and gold wood frame. Holtz is the only college football coach to lead six different programs to bowl games and the only coach to guide four different programs to the final top 20 rankings. On May 1, 2008, Holtz was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
