Offered is a 1975 Lou Holtz "A Champion on the Football Field and in the Fight Against Cancer" plaque presented by the Cumberland County American Cancer Society. The award incorporates a silver metal figure of a coach on one knee raised from the lower center of a brown wood plaque with a red metal panel. On the red metal panel, engraved in silver, is the legend "PRESENTED TO COACH LOU HOLTZ "A CHAMPION ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD AND IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER" FROM CUMBERLAND COUNTY AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA 20 MARCH 1975". This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
