Offered is a 2006 Operation Iraqi Freedom "Certificate of Appreciation" presented to legendary Hall of Fame college football coach Lou Holtz. The 8 x 10-inch color certificate is displayed in a 9 1/2 x 11-inch black wood frame with glass, and features an outline of the nation of Iraq and the legend, printed in black, "Multi-National Corps-Iraq Operation Iraqi Freedom 05-07 Certificate of Appreciation is presented to Mr. Louis Holtz For your exemplary support during your tour in Iraq from 21 June to 24 June 2006...". During the past 20 years, Holtz has visited numerous troop deployments and military bases in the United States, Iraq and Afghanistan, among others. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
