Offered is a 1989 City of East Liverpool Proclamation of February 4, 1989 as Lou Holtz Day. The legendary college football coach grew up in East Liverpool, Ohio, which is where he collaborated with a number of local businessmen to institute the Lou Holtz/Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame. The proclamation is an ivory parchment printed in black, and displayed in a 12 x 17 1/2-inch brown wood with glass frame. The document is signed in black pen by James F. Scafide, Mayor of East Liverpool, and affixed with a gold foil city seal with gold and purple ribbon at the bottom left. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
