Offered is a 1976 State of North Carolina proclamation of July 4, 1976 as "American Heritage Day" in North Carolina. A piece of history from the Bicentennial of the United States during 1976, 200 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this formal proclamation from Governor James E. Holshouser, Jr. bears his signature in black pen in the lower right center. At the lower left center is the gold paper seal of the state of North Carolina, with red and purple ribbon. This proclamation is displayed in a 9 x 14-inch white with gold accent wood and glass frame. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
