Offered is a 1977 University of Arkansas Orange Bowl team plaque. The black wood plaque features an 8 x 10-inch color team photograph of the 1977 Arkansas Razorbacks football team at the top center. Below the photo is a caption of the names of each player in the photo, printed in black, below the headline "Arkansas Razorbacks 1977 Orange Bowl Team". On January 2, 1978, Arkansas head coach Lou Holtz led the Razorbacks to an upset 31-6 victory over the Barry Switzer-coached Oklahoma Sooners at the Orange Bowl. Please note that there is a stain of white paint in the upper right corner and right margin of the plaque. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
