Offered is a 1976 Lou Holtz Tribute of Appreciation plaque presented by The Raleigh (North Carolina) Sports Club. The brown wood "shield" shaped plaque features a bronze-colored scroll work with laurel leaves, engraved in black with the legend "TRIBUTE OF APPRECIATION TO LOU HOLTZ "For a job well done" AS HEAD FOOTBALL COACH NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY 1972-1975 AND FOR HIS DEDICATION AND LOYAL SUPPORT TO YOUTH ATHLETICS WHILE A RESIDENT OF THIS COMMUNITY THE RALEIGH SPORTS CLUB APRIL 14, 1976". This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
