Presented is a 1982 Bluebonnet Bowl plaque presented to Lou Holtz. The brown wood laminated plaque with gold accent features a white certificate with an illustration of an Arkansas football helmet in red at the top left, the Bluebonnet Bowl logo in blue and yellow at the top center, and an illustration of a Florida Gators football helmet in blue and orange at the top right. At the center, printed in black, is the legend "PRESENTED TO Lou Holtz of the 1982 ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS FOR HIS EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE IN THIS ANNUAL CLASSIC". The 1982 Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl was held on December 31, 1982 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The #14 Arkansas Razorbacks defeated the Florida Gators 28–24. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
