Presented is Lou Holtz's Kent State Varsity "K" Athletic Hall of Fame 1990 induction plaque. The brown wood plaque features a black and copper-colored metal plate engraved in with the image of Holtz in the upper right, and the Kent State logo in the lower left, and the legend "Lou Holtz Coach Inducted February 16, 1990 VARSITY "K" ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME". Holtz played two years of varsity football at Kent State as a linebacker, and graduated from the college in 1959 with a degree in history. Please note that there are two tape remnant stains on the back of the plaque from prior mounting. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
