Presented is a 1973 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship football trophy pendant from the collection of coach Lou Holtz. The 10K gold pendant is sculpted in the form of a football, and is engraved on the front side with the caption "1973 Atlantic Coast Conference Champions". The reverse side is engraved with the name "Thomas Jeffries". The pendant is also engraved with the makers mark "1/10 10K CD LGB". Holtz coached the 1973 NC State Wolfpack to a 9-3 overall record and a perfect 6-0 record in the ACC, finishing the season ranked #16 in the Associated Press bowl following their 31-18 Liberty Bowl win over Kansas. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
