Presented is a 1982 Bluebonnet Bowl pendant from the collection of coach Lou Holtz. The 10K gold pendant features the engraved image of a Bluebonnet cdflower on the front, inside an "crosshatched" oval frame. The reverse side of the pendant is engraved with the legend "Bluebonnet Bowl 1982" as well as the maker's mark "S J 10K". The 1982 Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl was held on December 31, 1982 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The #14 Arkansas Razorbacks, coached by Holtz, defeated the Florida Gators 28–24. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
