Offered is an Orange Bowl Classic pendant from the collection of coach Lou Holtz. The 10K gold pendant features an engraved rendering of the Miami Orange Bowl Stadium from an overhead view, with the legend "Orange Bowl Classic" engraved at the top right, above a red and green enameled pair of oranges. The reverse side of the pendant features the engraved maker's mark and the caption "10K". In his first season at Arkansas, Holtz led the Razorbacks to a berth in the 1978 Orange Bowl against the Oklahoma Sooners, then coached by University of Arkansas alumnus Barry Switzer, and an upset 31-6 victory. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
