Presented is an Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl pendant from the collection of Lou Holtz. The silver metal pendant with black-tinted engravings features a light blue stone on the front center, within an engraved star set within 13 engraved stars and two Bluebonnet leaves and flowers. The edge of the pendant features the legend "Astro Bluebonnet Bowl" engraved along with a football at the bottom center. The reverse side of the pendant is blank, with a hollow interior. The 1982 Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl was held on December 31, 1982 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The #14 Arkansas Razorbacks, coached by Holtz, defeated the Florida Gators 28–24. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
