Presented is a 1989 Lou Holtz Coach of the Year award presented by the Louisville Coach of the Year Clinic. The award consists of a clock displayed in a brown and black woodgrain plastic plaque. The upper center of the plaque features a black Quartz clock, with gold metal strips representing hours, and gold metal hour, minute and second hands. At the lower center of the plaque, beneath the clock, is a gold and black metal plaque with the legend, engraved in black, "Lou Holtz Notre Dame University Louisville Coach of the Year Clinic 1989 Coach of the Year". The back of the plaque features the set-in plastic clock works, powered by a AA battery. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
