Offered is the 1997 John V. Mara Sports Award presented to Lou Holtz. The brown wood award features a gold and black metal plaque engraved in gold with the logo of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) at the top center. Below the logo is engraved the legend, also in gold, "Archdiocese of New York is Proud to Present the 1997 John V. Mara Sports Award to Lou Holtz...February 7, 1997". This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
