Offered is a Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Hall of Fame Award presented to Coach Lou Holtz for taking his teams to two Peach Bowls, in 1975 and 1992. The crystal trophy features a football atop a base. The base features the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Hall of Fame logo etched into the top center. Below the logo is engraved, in gold letters, the caption "Lou Holtz N.C. State 1992, 1975 Bowls". The same caption is engraved on the back side of the base, also in gold letters. Holtz coached NC State into a Peach Bowl berth in 1975, when they lost to West Virginia 13-10. NC State appeared again in the Peach Bowl in 1992, under head coach Dick Sheridan, a 37-34 loss to East Carolina. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
