Presented is a 2002 Outback Bowl award presented to University of South Carolina head coach Lou Holtz. The clear glass award consists of a football-shaped panel extending up from the left edge of a clear glass base. The football is etched with the Outback Bowl Tampa Bay logo and stitches, with the caption "University of South Carolina January 1, 2002". Mounted on the base is a gold metal plaque engraved in black with the legend "Lou Holtz Head Football Coach". Holtz's Gamecocks beat Ohio State 31-28 in the '02 Outback Bowl, played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
