Presented is a 1973 Lou Holtz signed North Carolina State Assistant Football Coach appointment card. The white cardstock card is pre-printed in black and inscribed in black marker with the legend "1973 Assistant Football Coach North Carolina State University I am happy to appoint: Bus Barcas as one of my assistant coaches. Any consideration shown him will be greatly appreciated by me. Lou Holtz Head Football Coach". Holtz inscribed Barcas's name and signed his own name, both in black marker. The reverse side of the card features an illustration of the NC State "wolf" cartoon mascot printed in red. There are minor black stains on the back edges of the card. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
