Presented is a 2002 Lou Holtz game-worn South Carolina hat worn by the coach on August 31, 2002 for career win #233. The red Russell brand adjustable cap features the legend "Carolina Football" embroidered in white with black borders on the front with a black bill and black button on top. The Russell logo is embroidered on the left side in red, white and blue. The back of the cap is embroidered with a gold, white and black rooster claw. Holtz has inscribed, in black marker, on the right side of the hat "Gamecocks-34 New Mexico St-24 "This hat was worn by me during the game" Lou Holtz Aug. 31, 2002". This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
