Offered is a 2009 Lou Holtz game worn jacket and cap from the Japan Bowl. The red nylon Champion windbreaker features the Ricoh Japan Bowl logo silk screened in white on the left chest, and the legend "Coach Lou Holtz" embroidered in white on the right chest. The back of the jacket features an illustration of a football player above the legend "Japan Bowl", the "Champion" logo, and the legend "Ricoh" silk screened in white. The white cotton Adidas cap features an embroidered red sun, a green, yellow and Navy blue "Fighting Irish" leprechaun, and the legend "2009 Notre Dame Japan Bowl" embroidered in navy blue within the red sun on the front. The Adidas logo is embroidered in black on the left side of the adjustable cap. Jay Vickers ran for 139 yards, scored a touchdown and set up another Saturday to lead Holtz's Notre Dame alumni team to a 19-3 win over the Japan American Football Association team in the Notre Dame Japan Bowl played July 24, 2009 at the Tokyo Dome. This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
