Offered is a 1982 "Arkansan of the Year" award presented to Razorback Football head coach Lou Holtz by the Arkansas Broadcasters Association. The award incorporate a brown wood board carved in the shape of the state of Arkansas, with a gold plastic eagle in the upper right, a gold metal radio microphone mounted in the lower right, and a gold and black metal plate at the left. The plate is engraved in gold with the legend "Arkansas Broadcasters Association Arkansan of the Year Award Presented to Lou Holtz for Outstanding Contribution to the People of Arkansas July 29, 1982". This item comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
