Miguel Cabrera burst into the Major Leagues as a 20-year-old in 2003, splitting his time between third base and left field for the Florida Marlins. Although Cabrera played only 87 games, he was an integral part of the Marlins offense, hitting 12 home runs and 62 RBI in less than 350 plate appearances. It was in the playoffs that Cabrera truly came into his own, mashing four home runs with 12 RBI and 10 runs scored in the Marlins second World Series winning season. In the coming seasons, Cabrera would announce himself as a perennial MVP candidate, compiling 11 straight seasons with at least 25 home runs, 100 RBI, and a .290 or better batting average. The American League MVP in 2012 and 2013 with the Detroit Tigers, Cabrera completed the first Triple Crown season in 2012 since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967 and has cemented his case as a surefire future Hall of Famer.

This Florida Marlins white button-down teal pinstriped home jersey has “Marlins” and a paraph sewn across the chest in black, silver and teal tackle twill. Cabrera’s number “20” is sewn on the front and back in similarly colored tackle twill. “CABRERA” is sewn across the back shoulders in black, silver and teal tackle twill. A Marlins 10th Anniversary patch is sewn on the right sleeve, while a Marlins logo patch is sewn on the left above a Russell Athletic logo. An MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar. A Russell tag with an attached size “48 100% POLYESTER” flag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Cabrera signed this jersey on the back between the name and number in black marker, inscribing “2003 Rookie Season Worn” below his signature. This jersey, which shows light wear, comes with a LOA from MEARS (313151) for game use and has been given the highest possible grade of A10, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AB09452) for the signature and inscription.
