Graded 35 GD+ 2.5 ("GD+ 2.5" equivalent) by SGC. Hall of Famer, in a particularly desirable "Federal League" depiction. Eddie Plank earned 326 victories during his big-league career. He posted more shutouts and completed more games than any other southpaw in major league history. Pitching for the Philadelphia A's in the first 14 seasons of the American League's existence (1901-1914), Plank helped lead his team to six pennants and three World Championships. Plank's immediately recognizable likeness is nicely maintained on this scarce and honestly circulated collectible, which displays corner rounding and routine product staining. Good-plus condition.
