New York Yankees infielder Lyn Lary made his Major League debut in 1929 and was a teammate of the legendary Babe Ruth from 1929-1934. Lary was beginning his career as Ruth’s was winding down and 1932, they brought a World Series title back to the Bronx. Presented here is an approximately 8 x 7-inch black and white vintage photograph that pictures the two ballplayers and their wives, all decked out their finest outfits. From left to right are Babe Ruth, his wife Claire, with both Lyn Lary and his wife Mary. This heavy stock photograph shows remnants on the back from having been pasted to an album. The front of the photo is in excellent condition and has been signed in black fountain by Babe Ruth, Lyn Lary and Mary Lary, who signed it “Mary Lawlor Lary”. This photograph comes with a LOA from JSA (B35688) for the signatures.
