Hall of Famer Frank Thomas recorded two of his finest seasons in 1993 and 1994 when he won back-to-back American League MVP awards. For the next decade, “The Big Hurt” reigned supreme as the most feared batter in the AL. This Worth bat dates from Thomas’ early years with the White Sox from 1992 to 1994. The two-tone Worth WC115 model bat displays excellent use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers on the barrel along with some checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact. The Big Hurt’s number “35” is hand-written on the knob in black marker and Thomas has signed his name on the barrel in silver marker while inscribing “35” and “93 AL MVP”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B26237), who have graded this bat a solid GU 8.5 for the game use. Additionally, there is a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AB09430) for the signature and inscription.
