This lot offers a collection of memorabilia signed by some of the greatest athletes in professional sports history. The first item in this presented lot is an Official NFL Paul Tagliabue Wilson football signed by Hall of Famer Joe Montana. Montana, considered one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever step on the field, won four Super Bowls during his tenure in the NFL. The football features “WILSON” imprinted in gold with black trim on the panels opposite the stitching. Montana signed his name with a black marker on the underside panel of the football. The signature is bold and large, and the football displays light scratching. The second item in this presented lot is an Adidas Tricofore soccer ball signed by National Soccer Hall of Famer Alex Lalas. Lalas, known for his distinct long beard and hair, played for the 1994 Men’s National Soccer Team in the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Lalas would continue his career in Italy and became the first American in Italy’s Serie A as a member of Calcio Padova. Lalas would return to the states and play in the MLS and is currently an analyst for Fox Sports. Lalas sign the soccer ball with a black marker. The ball contains cracks, markings, and scuff marks. Included in this lot is a Chicago Cubs #34 jersey signed by Kerry Wood. The six-button white with navy pinstripes jersey features the iconic “CUBS” logo on the left chest. A circular “Cubs” logo appears on the left sleeve. A Russell Athletic DIAMOND COLLECTION size “40” tag rests on the left front tail. “WOOD” and the number “34” appear on the back of the jersey in blue on red tackle twill. Wood signed across the back of the jersey with a black marker. The signature is large, and the jersey contains a small stain below the “CUBS” patch on the chest. This lot includes a red mesh San Francisco 49ers #8 jersey signed by Hall of Famer Steve Young. Young, one of the most efficient passers in NFL history, led the league in passer rating a record six times during this tenure in the NFL. Young won three Super Bowls while playing for the 49ers and was named the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX. The red mesh jersey features the number “8” in white tackle twill on the front, shoulders, and back of the jersey. An NFL Equipment shield rests on the apex of the collar. A Wilson “W” Logo appears on the left sleeve. NFL AUTHENTIC PRO LINE tags are located on the left front tail. A size “44” flag is attached to the Wilson AUTHENTIC PRO LINE tag. “YOUNG” appears in white tackle twill on a matching red nameplate across the back of the jersey. Young signed his name on the number “8” on the back of the jersey with a black marker. The signature is bold and clear. Included in this lot is a green mesh #19 New York Jets jersey signed by Keyshawn Johnson. Johnson is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl XXXVII. The jersey contains white sleeves with green and white stripes. The number “19” appears in green tackle twill on the chest, shoulders, and back. An NFL Equipment shield appears on the apex of the front collar. “STARTER” logos appear on each sleeve. An AUTHENTIC PRO LINE Starter tag with a size “48” flag appears on the left front tail. A New York Jets patch rests on the left front chest. “K.Johnson” appears in white tackle twill on a matching green nameplate across the back of the jersey. Johnson signed and inscribed the number “19” on the “9” on the back of the jersey. The signature and inscription are bold. Also included in this lot is a #91 Detroit Red Wings jersey signed by Hockey Hall of Famer Sergei Fedorov. Fedorov was the first Russian player to defect from the former Soviet Union to play in the NHL. The centre is best known for his 13 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, winning three Stanely Cups with the team and the Hart Trophy in 1994, the first non-Canadian to earn the honor. The white mesh pullover jersey features red accents on the tail and sleeves. The Detroit Red Wings logo appears in red and white tackle twill on the chest of the jersey. The number “91” appears in white tackle twill on the shoulders and back. A Nike size “52” tag rests on the inside collar. “FEDOROV” appears across the back of the jersey in red tackle twill. The Nike “Swoosh” symbol appears in red next to an NHL Equipment shield on the rear tail. Federov signed and inscribed the number “91” on the number “9” on the back of the jersey with a black marker. The signature and inscription are bold and clear. The final item in this lot is a gray six-button Baltimore Orioles #8 jersey signed by Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. Ripken Jr. is a 19-time All-Star, a World Series champion, and holds the MLB record for consecutive games played. The jersey features “Orioles” in cursive orange on black tackle twill with a paraph across the chest. The number “8” appears on the chest in orange and black tackle twill. The sleeves feature black piping. The right sleeve features a “100 Seasons 1901-2001 American League” commemorative patch. The left sleeve features a “Majestic” logo and the Oriole bird logo. An American flag logo appears just below the rear collar. “RIPKEN” appears across the back of the jersey in orange on black tackle twill. Ripken Jr. signed his name with a blue marker across the front of the jersey. The signature is bold and clear. The jersey signed by Ripken Jr. comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (AT00372168) for the signature. The entire lot of signed sports memorabilia comes with a pre-certification for Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
