Direct from Lower Marion High School in Philadelphia to the NBA in the 1996 Draft, his career spanned 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and included winning 5 NBA Championships, 18 All-Star Game appearances, the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player Award and many other awards and accolades.
