Golden State Warriors star Purvis Short wore this blue Warrior’s road jersey during the 1980’s. The fifth overall selection in the 1978 NBA Draft, Short averaged an excellent 19.4 points per game in his nine seasons playing for Golden State. This historic Warriors jersey features Short’s number “45” printed on the chest in yellow numerals and on the back in white-bordered yellow numerals. “SHORT” is printed in yellow lettering on the back shoulders over a matching blue nameplate. “WARRIORS” is printed in white-bordered yellow letters across the jersey’s front above a yellow logo incorporating the state of California in its design. A “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Golden State Warriors” tag and a Medalist Sand-Knit size “44” tag are sewn on the front left tail. The jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS (304793), who have given this jersey their highest possible grade of A10.
