Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Because of his absence for Korean War service, this '54 release was Williams' first gum card since the 1951 Bowman issue. (Back on the field in 1954, the great hitter rebounded with a .345 average, 29 homers and 136 RBI.) This scarce, "short-printed" card of Williams concedes rounded corners, but overall fairly well-centered. The great player's image comes through brightly in a clear, attractively colored portrait. Good condition.
