Presented here is a Denver Broncos road white jersey that was issued to Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway during the 1994 season. This style jersey was made by Wilson and only worn during the Week 4 matchup against the Buffalo Bills played on September 26th, 1994. Unlike the standard road jerseys worn by the Broncos that season, this special jersey has orange sleeves with blue borders that are linked to the white torso. This all-mesh size 48 jersey has Elway’s number “7” sewn on in blue and orange tackle twill on the front and back, while his number is sewn on white tackle twill on the orange sleeves. The Wilson tag is sewn on the front left tail with an attached “48” size flag and the NFL 75” patch worn by all teams in 1994 for the league’s 75th anniversary, is sewn on the upper left chest. The back has “ELWAY” sewn on in blue and orange tackle twill on a matching white mesh nameplate. Elway has signed this jersey on the back “7” in black marker and inscribed “7”. This jersey does not display any game use and comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded this jersey an A5, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AB09090) for the signature.
