Encapsulated and graded 9.6 by CGC with white pages. Shang-Chi exploded into the mainstream in 2021 with the release of his Marvel movie, which has only increased interest in his comic book origins. Before graduating to his own “Master of Kung Fu” book that ran for nearly a decade, Shang-Chi was originally introduced in the pages of “Special Marvel Edition” #15 in 1973. Creators Steve Englehart and Jim Starlin probably could not have imagined the legacy the character would go on to create, and this stunning high-grade example of his debut comic is the perfect way to celebrate it. According to CGC’s census report, only 106 copies have achieved a higher grade, making this copy all the more desirable and one that will increase in value the more Shang-Chi appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
