The game is a port of the popular “Salamander” arcade game and serves as a spinoff of “Gradius” and features Vic Viper and his attempt to save the galaxy from the planet-eating alien Zelos. The scrolling shooter game is known for its power-ups, difficulty, and lack of multiple endings. This presented sealed copy features a “REV-A” label and a round Nintendo “Seal of Quality,” indicating that this copy is a first production copy released between January 1988 and March 1989.
