Encapsulated and graded 3.0 with White Pages by CGC. The X-Men have been a multi-media brand for decades, but they got their start in this 1963 comic from the incredibly fertile minds of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. “The X-Men” #1 isn’t just the first appearance of Cyclops, Marvel Girl (a.k.a. Jean Grey), Iceman, Beast, and Angel, as it also introduced their teacher Professor X, their complex and popular villain Magneto, and the concept of mutants in general. That makes this issue a must-have for Marvel collectors in any condition. This presented copy contains a piece of tape on the cover, is signed “John” and “Pat” in blue ink that does nothing to detract from the gorgeously illustrated cover.
