Offered here is a sealed and graded first print of "Super Mario Bros. 2" released in North America for the Nintendo on October 9, 1988. The game was the sequel to the smash "Super Mario Bros." The 2D side-scrolling platform game allowed players to choose either Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Princess Toadstool to navigate the dream world of Subcon to defeat the main antagonist, Wart, to restore freedom to Subcon. The game sold 7 million copies and is based on the Japanese release of "Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic," which was modified for release outside Japan. Offered here is a sealed copy of "Super Mario Bros. 2" features a round Nintendo "Seal of Quality" stamp with "REV-A" to denote that the copy contains a three-screw cartridge and indicates that this copy was a part of the first print of this now iconic video game. This rare and highly sought-after game comes encapsulated and graded by WATA Games, who gave the Seal Rating a grade of B+ and an overall grade of 9.0 for the box.
