Offered is a lot of (2) Lou Holtz framed special recognition awards from the Arkansas Legislature and the Ohio House of Representatives. The first item in this lot is a resolution from the Ohio House of Representatives "to congratulate Lou Holtz on being selected National Coach of the Year". The resolution is typed in blue ink on an ivory parchment document, with a blue illustration of the Ohio State House in the top center. The resolution, dated Februrary 16, 1978, includes the signatures of three Ohio state reps in black and brown pen, as well as the gold foil state seal with two red ribbons. The second item in this lot is a resolution from the Legislative Council of the State of Arkansas commending the Arkansas Razorbacks football team and Holtz for the success of their 1977 college season, dated January 27, 1978 and signed in blue and black pen by all members of the Legislative Council of the State of Arkanas. Both items in this lot are displayed in a white with gold accent wood with glass frame. This lot comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz, and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc.
