Encapsulated and graded 8.5 with "White Pages" by CGC, this 1962 copy of "Journey Into Mystery" #83 is universally identified as Thor's origin and first appearance in Marvel comics. This issue is the source material for the God of Thunder, which has been adapted for the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise (portrayed by Chris Hemsworth). With a Stan Lee story and classic Jack Kirby cover, The Mighty Thor is called "the most exciting super-hero of all time." In Very Fine+ condition.
