One year removed from his 1991 MVP award winning season, Cal Ripken Jr. wore these Adidas cleats during the 1992 season. Ripken played in every game on the schedule for the 10th straight season, was named to his 10th consecutive All-Star game and won his second Gold Glove at the shortstop. These black cleats are made of black leather and have orange synthetic leather Adidas stripes on the sides. The shoes display substantial game wear and come directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. The ankle supports and heel cushions are foam padded and the hard rubber soles have six stainless steel spikes. Ripken has noted on the clear plastic bag that will accompany these shoes “1992 Game Spikes Adidas” in blue marker. These cleats come with a signed LOA from Cal Ripken, Jr. plus a LOA from J.T. Sports with corresponding holograms (1413 – right & 1414 – left) on each cleat.
