In the final season of his 18-year career, and second tour of duty with the New York Yankees, sturdy and reliable southpaw Andy Pettitte went 11-11 with a 3.74 ERA in 30 starts, finishing with a lifetime 256-153 record placing him third on the Yankees all-time victory list at 219 behind Whitey Ford and Red Ruffing. Pettitte sat on this thickly padded and comfortable clubhouse chair before and after his five-inning effort in a 5-4 loss to the Oakland Athletics at the Stadium on May 5, 2013 in his sixth start of the season.
