A near set, containing 121 of the 1954 Bowman Football issue's 128 subjects, is presented. Each of these collectibles has had the tips of all four corners removed. Thus, although these cherished rectangles are now, instead, octagonal, their inherent charisma is surprisingly undiminished. The revered legends and familiar mainstays populating the issue – including Gifford, Blanda (Rookie Card), Van Brocklin, Tittle, Layne and Bednarik – remain delightful to view. Missing #'s 16, 70, 78, 79, 88, 89 and 103 for completion. Poor condition.
