A near set, containing 301 of the 1955 Bowman Baseball issue's 320 subjects, is presented. Each of these collectibles has had the tips of all four corners removed. Thus, although these cherished rectangles are now, instead, octagonal, their inherent charisma is surprisingly undiminished. The revered legends and familiar mainstays populating the issue – including Mantle, Aaron, Berra, Feller, Campanella and Mays, as well as MLB umpires – remain delightful to view. Missing #'s 49, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, 238, 242, 243, 244, 248, 263, 264, 273, 274, 297, 307 and 313 for completion. Poor condition.
