Going into Game 1 of the 2012 AL Championship Series Yankees captain Derek Jeter was sitting on 199 career post season hits. In the 2nd inning he faced the Tigers ace Doug Fister. This dramatic action shot captures the moment just before Derek Jeter connected forth his 200th career post season hit. No man in the history of the game has hit that mark and it will most likely be a long time until it is approached again. That 200th hit also happened to be Jeter's last post season hit as well as he broke his ankle in the12th inning. No player since Babe Ruth could claim to be as proficient a hitter in the post season than Jeter and this great action shot captures him at his best. Jeter has signed the print in black Sharpie and proudly added the notation "200th P.S. Hit 10-13-12". The color 16" x 20" print is 3/6 has been professionally matted and framed to 22" x 26 1/2". Certificate of Authenticity from Steiner and MLB EK413551.
