Presented here is a small lock of former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy’s hair in a custom vial. One of America's most famous First Ladies, Jackie Kennedy, captivated the nation during and after her husband's short presidency with her stunning good looks, exquisite fashion sense, and magnetic charisma. During her time in the White House, she was occasionally groomed by the soon-to-be renowned White House Barber, Steven Martini. During her haircuts, Martini collected some of Jackie's famous hair.

Throughout the world's history, hair was one of the first collectible items from famed individuals and was more collectible than even a signature of them. Mrs. Kennedy's hair is stored in a vial and attached to a copy of a photo in an American flag background. The photo shows the Kennedys (President John, Jacqueline, John, Jr., and Caroline). A facsimile inscription reads To Ann and Steve Martini With Best Wishes Jacqueline Kennedy". This piece is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Steve Martini Jr, son of the famed Barber, and comes directly to us from his personal collection.
