George Brett amassed more hits (3,154) than any other third baseman in history and just 15 others have hit more than him. The Hall of Famer won a batting title in three different decades, a feat no one has ever equaled. Brett's Louisville Slugger T85 is un-cracked and shows excellent use. Several ball marks with blue ink transfers can be seen on the barrel log with stitch impressions and cleat marks. Blue bat rack paint streaks are visible on the barrel. The handle has been scored to enhance Brett's grip and a moderate coat of pine tar coats the handle. Brett's famous number "5" is hand written on the knob end in black. Best of all, the Hall of Famer has signed the bat between the center brand and stamped endorsement in blue marker. A true gamer from the sweet spot of George Brett's career. This bat includes a photograph of Brett presenting the bat to its original owner and Letter of Authenticity 1B08978 from PSA/DNA who has graded this bat a GU 8.5.
