There is a reason Harold Baines stuck around for 22 Major League Baseball seasons during which time he lent his services to five different franchises. The designated hitter and outfielder was a steady force at the plate, connecting for 384 home runs while posting a career .289 batting average. This game-used grey button-down road jersey comes from Baines’ 1990 season with the Oakland Athletics. “Oakland” appears across the chest with Baines’ number “3” on both sides in green-on-yellow tackle twill. “BAINES” appears across the top back of the jersey in green tackle twill on a grey name plate. The left sleeve of the jersey boasts a stitched Athletics logo of an elephant standing on a baseball with a bat clutched in its trunk. The inside front-left tail hosts a Rawlings manufacturer’s tag with size “42” and a grey strip tag immediately to the right that reads “2 90.” LOA from the Athletics as well as game worn expert Dave Miedema.
