Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of "Contra" developed by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The port for the famous arcade game was released by Nintendo for the North American market in February of 1988 and was one of the first action games to feature two-player simultaneous play. The game featured Bill and Lance, two members of Earth's elite Marine Contra Corps fighting against an alien invasion in the distant future, and was famous for its tight controls, rich graphics, and profound difficulty. "Contra" is one of the early NES games to feature the "Konami Code," which granted the player 30 extra lives and is almost essential to beat the game.

The presented copy features a "REV-A" label and a round Nintendo "Seal of Quality," indicating that this copy was produced between January 1988 and March 1989 and is a first production copy. A sealed copy of the game that made the "Konami Code" famous comes with an attractive seal rating of A+ and an overall grade of 9.0.
