Encapsulated and graded 9.6 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal rating of A++ by WATA Games. Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of “Mortal Kombat” published by Acclaim Entertainment for release on the Nintendo Game Boy on September 13, 1993. The game is a port of the controversial arcade game featuring fighters from Earthrealm led by Raiden against Shang Tsung and his fighters from Outworld that featured brutal fatalities and graphic violence. The game caused such an uproar that the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) was created to generate content warning labels. The Game Boy version was largely edited from the arcade version and featured difficult and lagging controls. The game allowed players to play as Goro but did not feature Johnny Cage as a playable character.

The presented copy features a “Made in Japan” label and a “USA Code” on the box. A copy graded 9.2 with a seal rating of A+ recently sold at auction for $11,000, making this copy with an excellent seal rating of A++ and an overall grade of 9.6 even more desirable to collectors of the controversial franchise.
