Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of “Mortal Kombat II” developed by Midway and published by Acclaim Studios for the Sega Genesis home console. “Mortal Kombat II” is the port of the popular arcade fighting game and was released for the Sega Genesis on September 9, 1994. The game features fighters from Earthrealm led by Raiden fighting in the Mortal Kombat tournament in Outworld against Shao Kahn and his minions. The game introduced multiple fatalities, “Babalities” that turned the defeated opponent into a baby, “Friendships” that featured more friendly interactions at the end of matches, and stage-specific fatalities. The game also introduced several new playable characters into the “Mortal Kombat” franchise like Baraka, Jax, Mileena, Kung Lao, amongst others still present in the franchise.

This presented copy features a “Printed in USA/Assembled in Mexico” label and an “M-17” rating label from the V.R.C. on the clamshell case. One of the single most impressive fighting games to ever appear on a console, this copy with an attractive overall grade of 9.4 and a seal grade of A makes this game both rare and desirable.
